Towa's turn to ride Rean around.
Laura and Rean had been sparring for a few weeks now. Read was now putting up a much better fight and yet he kept losing… and paying the price. He was hoping she’d eventually get tired of riding him but she kept taking him around the campus, growing bolder and more demanding every day. As they had just sparred in the gym, they were now in the corridors of the main building. It was 5 am and the whole campus was still deserted, or so they thought... Laura: Pick up the pace! Elliot and Fie go for a ride
Elliot and Fie were done with their scouting mission. With the civil war almost over and the noble alliance currently negotiating for peace, they were now finding themselves much less busy. Fie: I’m bored… I almost miss the time when we were on the run. The feeling of danger kept me on my toes. Elliott: Wasn’t that fight from earlier exhausting enough for you? I’m beat. Fie: That little skirmish? I did all the heavy lifting and yet you’re tired? Man, I would’ve thought that these few months on the run would’ve built up your endurance. Elliott: I’m a musician, I can’t possibly compare myself to a former Jaeger. Fie: Be that as it may, you need to up your game. You’re the son of the famous Craig the Red and yet I did almost all the fighting for you when we were paired up. You know what makes a Jaeger? We never work for free. How do you propose to pay for my services? Elliott: You’re joking right? Fie smiled. She initially started this a bit of banter but the idea of charging him for her

Laura takes Rean for a ride (Trails of Cold Steel)
Things didn’t start great for Rean with many of his classmates, especially so with the girls. First there was the misunderstanding with Alisa, and now Laura had taken offence with him due to what she perceived as weakness. She had asked him to come to the Academy Field at the crack of dawn, for a practice session. He tried to refuse but she didn’t exactly seem to take no for an answer. He showed up: Laura: You’re late. Rean: Am I? Sorry, but I had to pick up my requests from Towa. Laura: Requests? More like menial tasks that won’t help you grow at all… That time would be better spent on your training, “8-leaves school student”. Or shall I say dropout? Rean: I like to help. She’s a sweet girl and she does so much for us. Laura: Enough chit chat: we’ll obviously never agree. Are you ready for that fight? Rean: You mean practice? Laura: I mean fight. And let’s make a wager to make things more interesting. If you win, I’ll handle Towa’s requests for you for the entire day. If you lose
